Would you live in a shipping container?!

Cheap, transportable and recyclable, Adam Kalkin's container homes may be the next wave of prefab. Nobody has employed shipping containers more inventively than Kalkin, a New Jersey architect and artist who has used them to design luxurious homes, museum additions and refugee housing. The most popular cost from $250 to $400 a square foot including installation!

Fresh Packaging

I am obsessed with this packaging from bath and body works! It's so fresh and clean. This will definately make for some great inspiration in my fresh card line i'm working on. Check back for more on that :)

This concept design for an Israeli liqueur is so clean and simple! Love the stainless canister it comes in.
Eyal Baumert is a fourth year design student at Shenkar College in Israel. He recently sent in one of his latest projects:
"Zayde is a new alcohol beverage for an israeli liqueur company. inspired by the east european grandfather figure. the lable is called ‘zayde’ which means grandpa in yiddish."

City Life
.jpg)
Our puppy is ready to get out of the city and head to northern Michigan for the weekend where she can run around without a leash! On the other hand, I need some time with my mom who I haven't seen for about 6 weeks. Can't wait! In the meantime, I've been playing around with photoshop rendering techniques. Check out this picture of us that would look so great on the wall with an ornate frame! This would also be a great theme for wedding invites!Wednesday, April 1, 2009
Vintage Armchair
I have been dying for one of these vintage armchairs! The contrast of the ornate styles with a contemporary fabric leave me longing for a new office chair. Check out the built in desk in this pic as well!
