Hanging the map

My husband and I were talking one day and found out we both had an odd obsession with maps! We have a couple amazing big ones now and i've been trying to figure out how to hand them. This is what I had in mind... (Dowel on the top and bottom) But I can't figure out how the map would be attached! Any suggestions?

I have gone to heaven

And I was looking at Lonny Magazine! I just found this great publication that only puts out an online copy. I do love to have a magazine in my hands to admire the great images, but this magazine is so cool I can put that need aside. I have been on a internet adventure this morning following the links they provide over almost every image. This easy access could be bad news for me :) I'm still investigating how you can subscribe.
