Little Houses on Etsy

I'm LOVING this cowl neck sweater by Little House. I am so drawn to clothing that combines style with comfort. The neck on this is almost architectural with the big buttons and shapes it creates. Her page is amazing- check it out!

Sinching Style

Etsy featured this great seller today called fullgive leather! They use reclaimed materials- mixing the old and new for a funky, eclectic design. They also do wallets, bracelets and bags but I was blown away by the destructive quality of these authentic leather belts!

The Scart Trick Sweater @ Anthropologie features a built in scarf- hello! It couldn't be more made for me. I love how they pair this fun green and pale pink scarf with the simple knit fabric .

Jcrew to the Rescue

I have always had problems getting dressed in the morning- whether it be that I've only had 1/2 a cup of coffee by that point in my morning routine or it's just too early to be creative. I remember some knock down drag out fights that my sister and I had- "You never wear that- why can't I?", or "ok, you can wear it but you have to tell EVERYONE it's mine!" But lately I've started to pull my inspiration from another source... J.Crew. Over the past five to ten years Jenna Lyons (the head designer at J.Crew) has re-invented the company and the feeling they portray to worshipers like myself. Not only have the clothes become a whole new level of super-stylish, but the catalogs are like porn for fashionistas! I have started ripping out pages and keeping them in my closet to use as my personal stylist. Now, sometimes it does make me want to go buy that exact sparkly little tee that the model has on to complete my outfit but most of the time the looks help me to put something together that I wouldn't have been able to think up on my own by using my existing wardrobe. Here are some looks from their recent online catalog. Hopefully they bring you some inspiration!

The "not so high" Heel

I am looking for new mary janes to wear with tights in the fall and winter! It's so hard to find a cute pair that I can wear all day without taking them off and wearing my winter boots for the rest of the afternoon! Oh and did I mention it needs to be within my budget too. (which is getting hard these days) We all know that the Chicago winters can take a toll on your boots and they are not acceptable office attire. Tote Envy

I am envious of the girls I see walking down the street with large plush leather totes. I can never get myself to spend money on a bag even though it's something that makes my jaw drop. Especially this "spotlight" tote from Coach. They use the softest leather! The yellow straps and accents on this one create an updated retro look and would look amazing w/ my yellow leather belt I got from anthropologie.
